- Hello, I'm a native of Tuscaloosa, but have lived in Gadsden most of my adult life. I've have been an educator for 25 years, and my teaching experiences include 1 - 8 grades, adult education, Parent Center resource teacher, Even Start Preschool Administsrator and 13 years as an elementary principal. This is my tenth year as Mitchell Elementary School's principal and I have throughly enjoyed every year. Mitchell Elementary's reputation as a good school is well founded.
